Kraken probably passes on Holl, will Dermott be available?

no idea, but if they re-sign Dermott for 1.5 or less they save by letting Holl go.

Sign Hamilton for 7.5, its only +500k (Reilly/Holl = 7mil)

Have Kucherov evaluated by an independant doctor to make sure they didn't postpone his return until the playoffs for cap reason would have been a start.

I don’t think there are any provisions in the CBA for that. All I could ever find were arrangements for disputes between the team and player about injuries. Anyway, the idea of an outside doc coming in and telling doctors who have been treating someone for a year that they’re cured in not on. That’s a huge liability issue in a very litigious society.

Every GM ever has his misses / redos… in the scheme of things I think the ledger favors Lou over the years.

His track record is pretty damn good… Dubas could do a lot worse than emulating a little bit of Lou.
