Every GM ever has his misses / redos… in the scheme of things I think the ledger favors Lou over the years.
His track record is pretty damn good… Dubas could do a lot worse than emulating a little bit of Lou.

I am happy he is doing well for the Islanders but I am not going to forget the Zaitzev, Marleau, Martin contracts nor will I forget the just as useless as Foligno Plekanec and Boyle TDL trades. He got the Leafs Freddy...thats it. |

Not sure Joshua Ho-sang is done. Sounds like he had conditioning issues in Sweden, but could be the kinda guy you give a shot for a 700 to a mill on a one-year. Seems like Lou had a big hand in shutting him down.

Yeah Paul Marner was pissed about that, that's when he made his burner account saying Marner is as good as Mcdavid and was to be treated like it.
Lou just stuck to his old ways and didn't think about the team in that situation. You don't let that get in the way of things. |
