Hyman is exactly the kind of player the Leafs should be making an investment in. Let’s see if Dubas can convince him to stay at a reasonable # & earn some of that GM jack he’s getting ….

Korn has been the goalie coach for guys with above .920sv%'s for 3 decades with dozens of different goalies. It's insane.

The D class is really good next offseason.

I don’t think they’d have much trouble replacing rielly if they needed to.

Also hoping Sandin and Liljergen makes strides they can probably sign another Brodie instead of an expensive Rielly

That is indeed impressive. That may be the reason that Isles can roll whatever goalie they want out there and still be competitive.

However you want to attribute it, whatever formula the Isles have, it’s working year after year recently. And there consistency in how they play, No matter the injuries, remarkable.

Every GM ever has his misses / redos… in the scheme of things I think the ledger favors Lou over the years.

His track record is pretty damn good… Dubas could do a lot worse than emulating a little bit of Lou.
