Does anybody really care that the CN tower is lighted in Montreal colours in recognition of their win over Winnipeg? I doubt there are many Leaf fans that really have an issue with this outcome. I can assure you that Doug Ford posing in a Canadiens sweater had minimal impact on the judgement of his supporters and detractors. |

i don't really consider Montreal to be the Leaf's arch enemy. One playoff series in decades sort of takes the wind out that. Boston and Montreal are the arch enemies now.
Secondly, after the show Toronto put on we deserves every insult thrown our way. Remarkably, no one seems to be doing that, must be that everyone feels so bad for Toronto there not rubbing it in. Which tells you something. |

Took the dog for a walk after watching the leafs laughable effort in game 7. The CN tower started repping the habs colours. Can’t lie it made me laugh, really expected folks to be more pissed at that.
This article fails to point out the actual catalyst for the leafs cap and over all roster balance issue. Being impatient with the rebuild and signing jt as a ufa. Setting the tone for the 3 young offensive players to use as a bench mark when it came time to get payed. If 11 mil is the bar for a player who wracks up points and fails to produce the in the playoffs no wonder the leafs are where they are today. |

Even as not much of a drinker, you’d have to hit the bars of Hull in the old days. The Ottawa House was where the Federal office buildings are now and the Chaudiere was out towards Aylmer. Louis Armstrong played there back in the day but you could see the Guess Who and great local bands. Ottawa bars closed at like 11 or something stupid. |
