Can't wait to sign Kotkaniemi to a perfectly reasonable 5 year, $4 million contract. |

Maybe hiring a lawyer instead of an ex-player as a GM is a good idea

Nothing genius about it. If Kucherov doesn't get injured, they can't get over the cap like this.
EDIT: Also, Bergevin doesn't handle that, Habs have their own lawyer for it (John Sedgwick) |

And it's not like Montreal can afford to put out a poison pill offer to Svechnikov or anything. No chance of Svechnikov taking a top dollar deal built purely on bonuses that takes him directly to ufa. Canes can go for all the "vengence" they want |

Our depth just couldn't match up.
Of course, we also don't have a $5 million center on our 4th line.
And also don't have 8 guys making MORE than that $5 million center. |

Yeah, I'm surprised no one asked for him to be checked out by an independant doctor.
The fact he was 100% healthy EXACTLY when the playoffs started, is more than suspicious. It's obviously fraud.

$28 million in cap space for next season.
Alex Semin's buy-out comes off the books.
I'd like Hamilton to stay but if he wants the Pietrangelo contract he's gone.

You don't think he's worth it?
This guy seems to have everything you could want in a defensemen yet he's been traded twice already and now could walk as a UFA.
It's weird.... and not just "I like going to museums" weird.

Then again the doctor is going to ask, do you still feel pain?
(here's the trick, you say : Yes) |

Physical injuries are harder to fake.... at least I know a few docs who check out our employees that can call bullpoop sometimes.
The worst are the mental sickness.... I mean if the person keeps saying after a year she's having trouble getting out of bed and feel sad all the time and doesn't post pictures of herself at the beach club on facebook.... it's pretty hard to catch.
