My job that was remote was expected to be a available at all hours because I was home.

That doesn’t fly for me. My fiancée is in school still, I pick up the slack around the house, when my shift is done, I’m done.

If I was single, it would be a different story entirely

Didn’t have the correct number of teachers there, and one was on their phone. My daycare pays a little more, and your phone gets locked with only the manager having an emergency phone available. Wish this wasn’ta true story but happened a month or so ago.

We got lucky not having to do daycare, I worked days and my wife worked 2nd shift, never get to see each other much but it saved 500-600 dollars a week.
