Take this with a grain of salt, but my buddy has been right on a few of the things I have posted
Eichel to LA is basically a done deal if LA includes Byfield.
Probably still a done deal if they don’t.

Makes sense with what Dreger posted today about the Kings looking for two top 6 forwards. |

Craig Button was on w Seravelli yesterday and basically said the Kings are in a perfect position to trade for a guy like Jack. Button lists 7 Kings' players in his top 75 prospects. |

Seems like a lot of articles coming out with Rhino as the better option than Jack. This would be a interesting offer. Would like to see if they could squeeze a pick in the deal to. - Buff36
I think the Sabres should trade Sam 1st
Don’t want him as a fall back option for teams who miss out on Jack |

I am Canadian.
I’m just not biased and try to look at things on an even playing field.
I like Power, I think Noah Hanifin is a good comp for him.
Hanifin is a good player, I don’t have a gripe with him, but I wouldn’t take a player I would compare to him first overall if there were forwards there with a higher ceiling.
I’m already ready for us to take Power though, and just like Jack Quinn, I hope makes me eat a boatload of poop and ends up living up to the hype of what people perceive his upside to be due to his size. |

thanks broads. I get the notion that Byfield is untouchable, and they have so many other pieces that they can move for Eichel. I don't blame the Sabres for holding a hard line here, but you have to think, conceptually, is getting Turcotte, Kaliyev and Bjornfot better than Byfield, Madden and (maybe)1?

Yet you are claiming that Power is a defacto Norris Dman.
Looking good against 3rd liners and 3rd pairings isn't worthy of such absolute lofty claims.
It is impressive at 18 to play well no doubt...kinda like Byfield impressing in the AHL at 18 and referring to him as a bust.
Weird takes. |

Yzerman was just open to taking calls and he got a huge offer for Mantha. What you have here is not enticing at all. |

No offense (and really won't be) I don't get why people would do this. I come to this sight for... rumors. Not to hack it up with you slobs.(maybe that was the offensive part). Keep em coming if you got em, big or small. |

Disregarding any of the previous conversation you guys have had, it doesn't matter who was playing, an 18 year old was the best defenseman on the squad. It says

No, you hold the hard line. Byfield or behold this field of rocks LA can kick:

Idk if they’d give up Kempe?
I’m assuming they don’t wanna give up roster players, except the guys we’d need to take for Cap purposes
Eichel, pick8, 2022 1st, and another prospect- like Kupari, (hopefully not) Kaliyev, etc etc
Then bc we’d agave to take Quick & Maata most likely- get another piece from them
Byfield & Turcotte would be a dream scenario imo
Button suggested those 2, and two 1sts coming back from LA a couple weeks ago
If we get those 4 pieces,
I’d take whatever Cap back they need us to |

Basically he told me the Sabres were told the Kings will try and match what any other team offers and they have the horses to do it.
Unless something crazy happens I’d expect him to be a King.
They’re 100% trading him ASAP.

Agreed
I’d be disappointed if Turcotte is the main piece
But if it is Turcotte ++++,
then those +s better be exactly the pieces we want |

That's thousands of broken toes. Do you think they'd be willing to negotiate after their entire staff have broken toes?
Personally I'd hook their sacks up to a car battery
