I don't know Portland, Quebec. They don't need to sell the team to get better reviews or generate more fans, just put a better product out and it will happen. Your opinion is your opinion, I would rather not take a chance and hope Adams and Company get it right. - Buff36
Wouldn't hoping a rookie GM under the mico-management of a decade long losing owner be considered taking a chance?
I don't care if he sells the team but his tenure as owner will go down in the anals of history as one of the worst in the league not just the organization.
I don't care who gets it right but I am putting less hope into the known loser than I would new blood.

right!?...he did that in nashville and took them as far as they could go without any real dominant scorers...he gets to washington with ovi et al, employs his system with the best goal scorer of his generation and the caps win their first cup...why the caps didn't extend him is beyond me - Michael Pachla
Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing Boston lose, but the Isles have just been really fortunate these playoffs more than anything
They’ve won 3 or 4 games now scoring 4 or 5 goals on under 20 shots, while giving up 40+ or close to.
If that dries up Tampa is gonna manhandle them pretty easily
Vasilevsky isn’t going to give up the softies Jarry did and he isn’t injured like Rask is |

he bought the sabres for 189 mil
current value is 385 mil
my guess is a year from now value will go back to precovid value of 400 mil
if someone wanted to relocate the team, they would probably pay 450 mil
can anyone see this as a possibility if the sabres are bottom 3 team in a year and the bills win the super bowl?

So another year of no playoffs.
Well done. You'd fit right in downtown. 😁😉 - Powerslave
I could make that roster too, but it's going to cost future assets.
I could also sign free agents who would rather realistically piss on us, so the trade route is where it's at. I don't really know if we're in a position to trade for the playoffs next year.

For Jack or Sam? - Powerslave
Take it with a grain of salt, but he's saying ANA wants Jack and that they're ready to trade some yougins, including Zegras, if necessary to get him. They think he's Getzlaf 2.0. |

They would have to pay 450 just to acquire the team.
Moving costs along with new arena and new city gov regulations...it would be more expensive than buying into the league as a new organization and that doesnt have the Sabres stink on it. |

Not personally no. For one reason solely, Pegulas own both teams.
If it was split ownership, I'd be worried. But I don't think Terry wants death threats while sitting in his new arena we buy for him. |

Which hasn't happened in 10 years of ownership, foolish to think that will change now.
No chance the Sabres will be moved out of Buffalo, ideally a media specialist takes ownership, leave the hockey team to the hockey guys, recognize the value in the organization is the fans. With the ability to interact via social media and other avenues they should be bold and find a blend of what the hurricanes are doing and the NBA, allowing players to become celebrities.
Players ability to generate multiple revenue streams, it will raise the desire of free agents to want to come here.
The organization needs to embrace its a small market team, but online is where they have the ability to exponentially grow. - washedup20
This is the smart post of the year

Seems like a lot of articles coming out with Rhino as the better option than Jack. This would be a interesting offer. Would like to see if they could squeeze a pick in the deal to. - Buff36
I would hope so, Foudy and one of their goalies would be a horrible return for Reinhart |
