MB and DD surely have discussions about the roster on a daily basis, but if they're gonna sign Ducharme I kind of hope he's taking his own decisions, and is not being completely manipulated by Bergevin, as suggested numerous times here.

I don’t think I remember having been on such an emotional roller coster with this team ever. I mean I was really excited and confident prior to the season, then after the start I got completely over excited with the brilliant start, then there was to slow way down to hell, followed by slowest climb out of there ever... and now well, the excitement level is going up so quickly it’s scary....

I'm starting to wonder if there's any truth to the rumour of MB wanting to step away from the Habs after this year regardless of results so he's just in it to his eyeballs while he's here. Think Friedman is the one who reported the idea of MB possibly wanting out after the year

I know someone did report that but i cant remember which one it was. Guess anything is possible, we’ll know soon enough, GM hardly ever start the last year of their contract without an extension when they dont want to go
