I know who you meant. I love Stevie Y but…

I should hope you knew who I meant Cpt.

Those Isles drafts went in the dumper when Jimmy left.

Outside of the delay of game which there's almost no judgment on, the Bruins were penalized 3 times, the Isles twice. It's not like there was this huge disparity in penalty calls.

Man this Habs/Jets game is like watching Trotz turtle wax his dome. Boring. Compared to Isles/Bruins it's like 2 different hockey worlds.

Hahah yea I know. Forgot we were awarded least PP’s during regular season. Not sure how any of this is carrying out in playoffs but I’d bet it’s similar. Especially penalties. You can’t just turn a switch and become a clean playing team.
- TogaIsles

The Bruins are used to getting away with most of the crap they do. They’re pretty well known for it and good on them they do what it takes to win. Tampa does the same routine and plays with an edge. Boston crossed the line a few times and paid for it. They also got away with a lot as well and got handed a couple of power plays on phantom calls. They’re lucky a couple of their players didn’t get 5 min majors and suspended instead of joke 5000 dollar fines for infractions the last couple of games. Seriously that’s why it’s embarrassing.

I’m clearly biased but this has been the best series I’ve watched so far. Game four was probably the best game I’ve seen since I don’t even know when? It was brutal

Full credit to the Habs but how are they doing this? I'm happy for my family in Montreal but hopefully they are not on a magic ride like 93.

That division is a bit of a joke compared to the rest of the league imo but who knows maybe they have some magic. They just won

I don't think so. They are the only team in their division that plays hard-nosed playoff style hockey. I don't think they will be pushovers, but I don't think they have the talent outside of Price and Weber to compete effectively against the Avs or Vegas.

Anyone see Zajac say how tight this team is? Said he came from a team where if you were over 25 you were out of the loop

No question Cpt but I'm getting scary 93 flashbacks.

Isles/Bruins has definitely been the best series so far. Tampa/Florida was good too. Makes for an entertaining series when the intensity is dialed up. Canadian division hockey has been like a morgue. I actually fell asleep at times during the Habs/Leafs series.

I think the Habs will get their faces caved in next round but we'll see.

Hope not John. This team seems no where near as good as the 93 team and that team was still a surprise.

I don’t see how they don’t but I guess you never know. NHL playoffs and Price is perfectly capable of stealing a series.

Isles do seem super tight so go out and win the whole thing or everyone is traded. Just kidding.

One thing Montreal has going for them is no one is picking them to win. So there's no pressure on them. That can be a dangerous opponent.

Watch Price turn into Patrick Roy 2.0 this year.

Still hear hockey people even Larry Brooks mention the Turgeon injury might have cost the Isles the Cup that year.

Exactly right. House money. Islanders will no longer be taken lightly. Maybe by Tanner.

We could’ve won a cup that season 100%. Worst thing that happened after was secret Ranger agent Don Maloney dismantling that team and destroying it. He was arguably just as destructive if not worse then Mike Milbury. That guy doesn’t get enough negativity thrown his way.
