McDavid is a generational talent; ie best in the world. Matthews is better than Stone by a bit, but I think Stone is at the lower end of elite.

No doubt. I don't think any cup winners have had players making over 8-9 Million on them. Ovechkin on the Caps might have been the highest I think.

It was 2018 wasn't it? Still I definitely agree with the the notion; Kucherov and MacKinnon could probably have more money if they wanted, but they took a little less to have good teams around them.
