Not as overpaid as Voracek. The only trouble Im having is trying to understand your insistence that this would be a good deal for Arizona.
And from what I read, Kessel does enjoy it there. - MBFlyerfan
Kessel makes 8 jake 8.2. Pitt retains 1.2. So 6.8 is what Arizona pays. Again not a huge diff.
I laid it out for you several times why it is a good deal for Arizona. If you cant understand that then not much more I can do for you. If you disagree that is your opinion.

reminds me of when he was saying Bozak was a signing option when he was still under contract. takes 2 seconds to go to capfriendly before posting your dumb trade scenarios. |

Being the resourceful blood hound that you are please show that post where anyone said to sign Bozak while he was still under contract. Shouldn't take you long.

I have to confess I dont recall this incident. (Probably because it never occurred as described, given your track record of fantasy 😘). Did the posts get deleted? |

What are the organizations biggest needs via the draft? I'd say center depth and a top pairing defenceman.
1) center depth/skill
2) top pairing dman
3) goaltending |

It’s getting really (frank)in old how the Flyers beat writers have made it a Nolan Patrick witch hunt this summer. No matter how you spin it, it is absolutely best to hold onto him and have him figure it out here instead of elsewhere. He has ZERO trade value. Why are the writers trying to chase him out? Am I disappointed by his season? Yes. But FFS he showed he can stay healthy with his migraine issue. There’s two scenarios how this plays out:
1. hold onto him and hope he gets his game back.
2. You trade a #2 for peanuts and he figures it out elsewhere and we have an egg on our face (again).

I think his age and his potential still gives him value, someone would be willing to take a chance on him via a trade. Personally I think a fresh start, given the right circumstances in a trade, would be beneficial for both the Flyers and Patrick.
A young right shot defenceman should be a target, if they were exploring a trade. |
