Habs would still play againts all other 31 teams. just that instead of having FLA TB BOS in the division they'd have WPG CGY EDM...

play 2 games againts each of the other 31 teams = 62 games
play 2 extra games againts each team in your division = 14 games (7 canadian teams + BUF)
total 76 games (instead of 82)
replace these 6 missing games by an extra playoffs round because you accept more than 16 teams. ( a bit like in the bubble last summer)

Price needs to play maybe 50 games max in the regular season, going forward.

When the games count, Price will show up, but I just do nto get the feeling he is in for a long season, especially slumps. While he never says anything, I think he gets frustrated, more at the fact he cannot save the team himself than anything.
