Depends on his ceiling as well. Beniers screams definition of high floor, low ceiling to me. Which is good in what he’ll do. Power had the high floor and a higher ceiling of the two imo. Just the position he plays is redundant for Buffalo

He did it a couple times against not great competition.. he tries to do that against McDavid, pasta, Kucherov, MacKinnon they’ll eat him alive.

It only works if you are faster then the other players. Beniers May be faster then ROR, but he’s not blazing fast by NHL standards. He tries to pull that on the PK and gets picked and the other team scores, it’ll be a fast way to lose the confidence of teammates and coaches.
