Power isn't worth that much :/

Depends on who you are.

Doesn't really matter, none of that will happen anyway.

One year difference, eh whatever, but Quinn blows, right?

i'd recommend going to vegas for a knights playoff game to everyone. i think i'd consider that a bucket list event for hockey fans.

the atmosphere outside, then inside. it would be hard for any team to compete with what they can offer because, well, its vegas. but they did everything to perfection.

When Byfield is one of those guys then come back at me Gerbs.

I dont want him. And half of what I say is overexaggerated to have some fun here anyways haha

No. Did I ever say he was a bust? I said he’s Drew Stafford, who had a nice career. Just not worth a top 10 pick.

And I’ll stand by that until he proves me right or wrong.

But what has Byfield proven to you?

And we will stand by not grabbing Byfield for the #1. Just take Power and have a superb D corps for years to come. The guy just played lights out against NHL competition. He legit proved he can hang with the big boys.

Having the number one pick gives the franchise some options, for sure.

That he’s a much better prospect than Quinn.

One is a super talented 6’5 center

The other is a 6’1 decently talented winger.

Why are we comparing them?

I would just draft Power or Beniers number 1 and be done with it

This will never happen Crooked Broadary. You've never been proven right and will make up a million excuses like every other one of your terrible takes through the years. Your track record on here blows. What if Vegas takes out the best team in the last 20 years (according to you) that you already have slotted to win multiple cups? You start compiling your list of excuses yet?

Don't jump off the bridge yet, see what this offseason brings. Could be the wildest in Sabres history.

Even if Eichel, Reinhart or Risto are NOT traded....
that will still be VERY interesting

I’m ready to blow it all up though
We can’t even get NEAR the playoffs with this “core”
So it’s hard for me to ever see it turning into a
Stanley Cup “contender” with it

Sucks
But i think we’re at that point

I say keep the pick.

But if teams are willing to wheel and deal...

(Now, I'm spitballin' here, so be kind).

Off-season plan...

#1 to LA for Byfield, Bjornfot, Kupari and #8. (hey, you want the pick, pay me). If that's too much, keep Kupari. I'm not a savage.

Eichel to Anaheim for Comtois, Drysdale, Henrique and #3.

Rhino to Columbus for Foudy and Elvis.

Risto to Philly for Konecny.

Provided Power and Beniers go one/two, draft one of Eklund, Guenther or one of Edvinsson, Clarke or Hughes at 3 and grab Wallstedt at 8.

Adam Henrique quits hockey.

Add these players to Cozee, Dahlin, Mitts, Quinn, and the bevy of young D we have and the rebuild is complete.

Does LA want Power?
And that does seem like a lot for him
Maybe Turcotte instead of Byfield?
I think our only shot at Byfield is in an Eichel deal
