Do you not know what 'less likely' means anymore? Does it mean impossible?

What this morbid fascination is with turning everything into a conspiracy is I don't understand.

- PT21

Is it impossible to die from a vehicular accident? Is it impossible to die from any number of things?
In reality if your at a higher risk for anything do you expect the whole world to change for you?
With the Wuhan virus by now we know what demographic is at a higher risk and who isn’t. So does it make sense to subject states or the country to absolute restrictive mandates that are not doing anything?

Really because actual doctors who have studies the wuhan virus and actually treated Wuhan positive patients say otherwise.
I’m not a 18 year ole scared kid in your class you better start coming with better material because it’s shameful you pass yourself off as an educator.
Answer me this. If i have had this virus already why should I get one of the vaccines?
As a thinking man have you ever asked yourself that question.
The covid19 virus experimental shot is targeting a spike protein that has already changed.
Any of the so called vaccines are not proven to protect against newer strains of the virus.
That is a fact.
Why are tech companies silencing doctors who do not agree with the CDC or NIH?
Why hasn’t the USA come up with a early infection protocol to prevent hospitalization?
Give me answers fraud.
You can’t can you.
It’s proven that hydroxychloriquine with zinc etc are very effective early in diagnosis of covid19 to prevent hospitalization.
Why hasn’t that been suggested country wide?
Because the so called pandemic was politically pushed.

you know how a virus scanner on your computer has to be updated periodically? that's what the vaccine and boosters do for your immune system

I don’t trust the cdc not at all.
The teachers unions should not get a say with any cdc protocols.

I will answer this from the rest of your drivel. Or rather answer this yet again, for I did exactly this question just 2 days ago.

Your chance of getting covid again after infection is 30 times more than getting covid after vaccination based on cdc data.

- PT21

Your getting absolutely wrong information. I would suggest you educate yourself.
If you were to read any of the literature for the SHOTS they say it does not guarantee you won’t get the Wuhan virus or be able to pass it on.
With that I’ll trust my immune system.
Maybe you know more than this doctor.

It will probably be such a short amount of time they need them, it’s the one thing the league can control (players can’t wear them, crowd is honor system at this point) - so even if MILDLY protecting your STAFF is a MINOR advantage in the PLAYOFFS.. the question is ... why does it bother you so (frank)ing much?

That’s not a great representation. Do we have to get boosters for smallpox, polio etc.?

Most of the other names that most people would want will be gone by #13.

IF a miracle happens and these players slide down for whatever reason these two are who I hope the Flyers grab.

Brandt Clarke
- Right hand shot, would compliment any partner in the top 4

Mason McTavish
- One of the better shooters in the draft, tenacious and physical with extreme 2nd and 3rd effort

Otherwise I think realistically the 12 players I would be interested will be gone and out of the bunch that is left and did not get the scouting they deserve, these two are my selections.

Nikita Chibrikov
- The Russian factor! The Flyers don't seem to do well with Russians, but it's a stigma that needs to be removed quickly. He could be a difference maker for the club even if it takes a few years to bring him over.

Aatu Raty
- Obviously he has been dropping ranks this past season due to performance, but has tons of upside and could become a steal much like Couturier in his draft year.

Another player I think will be gone, but may slide is:

Fabian Lysell

- Glak18

If mctavish is there at 11 the hawks will take him

Did you know the current shots target a particular protein spike and it’s unknown if the would work for variants?
See the flu vaccine as an example. It’s not known what flu strain will be prevelant year to year.
Get the flu vaccine right? When it’s not known what strain will be active before production.
This shot is unknown what the long term effect will be.
Sorry not good enough.

The team in front of him is the issue. It starts with the leadership not leading the right way.

Petr Mrazek looks pretty good since he left philly doesn’t he. How about Cam Talbot this year too. Anthony Stolarz even had good numbers on a Anaheim team with a horrible record.

The leadership is lazy, complacent & don’t play, practice, or prepare the right way.

- Fopa21

The leadership is to blame for the subpar goaltending in Philadelphia? That’s a new take.

For 20 years the organization has struggled with the position, Steve Mason was the best they could come up with, that’s on management. They haven’t drafted, developed and kept one goaltender to be their starter. Until Hextall took Carter Hart.

Mr Francis your throwing the insults around today and yesterday.
Maybe I’m hung like an acorn maybe like a sausage.
What does it matter? I’m all for addressing hockey and current events.
The problem with now discussing current events is we get hosed by a government that doesn’t give a poo about you or me.
Let’s face it the leviathan that Congress has relinquished control to namely the beuracracy has to much power.
Take your freedom by the scrotum and squeeze.

What's separating a Pickard from a Vasilevskiy on draft day, tho? Or Kari Lehtonen from a Carey Price? Or a DiPietro from a MAF?

There's really no way to really tell the studs from the duds, since you simply won't know what they are until they actually face NHL shots and NHL pressure.

Goaltending is just weird like that.

- Tomahawk

The same thing separating mcdavid from Keith jones... scouts and collection of evaluators. Every draft has clear top 1 or 2 goalie draft prospect. Well almost every year. The point wasn’t to say you can’t get goalie later but you’re miss %goes way up after the top g prospect maybe top 2. Honestly I see no difference between drafting “3rd best goalie prospect in draft from the 20th as it’s a major crapshoot especially at goalie position. My theory was to avoid that scenario altogether. Look at how many goalies drafted by philly over last 10 years. I haven’t checked but I bet around 20 or so. And they’d be 0-20 or so until they took the top goalie prospect(hart) in 2016. That’s their 1 hit. Make zero sense to use logic of oh you can get a goalie in draft wherever when the miss % is so high after the top prospect. Maybe 2 prospects.

It’s not a lie. The flaw with a representative republic is it needs morally sound leaders and culture
Can you honestly say we have both of those?
Let’s face it the education level of the men who wrote the Declaration of Independence and those who voted on the ratification of the constitution were far superior to what passes as higher education today.

Not quite. I just looked it up. 😭

All homicides (not just gang)) add up to about 15000-16000 a year in US. Current daily death rate from Covid as of today is over 500 a day, which is that number just in 1 month.

Pedantic debates apart, this is the biggest calamity of our lifetime. Lots of people have suffered enormously. Yet like all the wars in my lifetime (starting from Vietnam), those unaffected are callous and complacent.

We should all do our part in making sure this never happens again. This includes combating misinformation whenever we can.

I suspect you are misreading the studies that say vaccinations reduce transmission. The reason for the latter is because there is less of a target population for the virus to latch on to as the vaccine antibodies will repel the virus.

As far as I know, vaccines reduce viral load, which lowers transmission odds, but not down to zero.

Bill Maher tested positive for the virus after vaccination. That means the virus in in his system though it is not producing effects on himself because of vaccine. Say he is in close proximity to an unvaccinated person. Why would he not be a potential transmitter?

- PT21

Using Maher is an anecdote, not part of a broader statistical trend with which you can draw conclusions to support the idea that vaccinated can transmit in relevant numbers. The available data says the opposite.

Let people do what the (frank) they want. For example, I’m vaxxed. I’ve been to live music. Play ice hockey. Do whatever I want. My girlfriend, although vaxxed, likes the idea of the mask. And it literally doesn’t effect me or anyone other than a couple of old, (frank)less white losers who care what other people do.

Maybe I think different...I do agree with what you said except for “we the people “ absolutely was and is a lie. How can it not be if you read and understand the constitution? The founding fathers were not smarter they were slicker. For example the constitution was written and ratified knowing it was suppressing democracy. Slaves much? Voters rights much? Senate formed of land owners? It’s always been about power... power for the rich... it’s never been about dem/rep conservative/libs it’s always been about rich vs poor. In order for a democracy to work which we are a republic of democratic elected officials you need to first and most importantly take care of the people that do the electing? The poor as they have no power. The power is supposed to be in their vote. But does it matter when a whole system is set up for the rich from the beginning? Whenever any group of “we the people” try to democratize what happens? Look at slavery , civil right, voters rights woman’s rights, gay rights, etc. look at what the rich(power) does. It does everything it can to suppress those rights to maintain power. And that’s from both sides. Because they’re both for the rich. They are the same. Until the people realize and elect people to change these things we are doomed as it naturally will continue to get worse. 26 amendments to constitution should tell you “we the people is a lie” but I do agree with you that none of that give the poor or people the right to behave it does. Until there is a balance between the rich and poor all people do better it will be status quo. Sadly.

I also agree if for nothing else.. call it the Ten Commandments or whatever religious set of rules. As a damn species is it too much to just be civil? A basic decent breathing being? I mean wtf with all the poop in this country already. I know surely every country has some basic problems and things but holy (frank) in the USA already nowadays. Just broke the whole thing is.

Lovely morning here in Camden. How are Flyers fans making out today? No coaches have been fired yet, well that is disappointing.

The trade market probably heating up behind the scenes. GM Fletcher has many irons in the fire. When will new deals for Giroux and Sean be announced? Before or after free agency?
