The top 4 has been very solid but so much ice-time will end up hurting...Although I'm guessing Ducharme wants to finish this in 4 and get some rest after.
The Jets haven't been very good but they are missing a lot of thei core players so I guess that's normal... Take Danault, Suzuki and Chiarot away from our line-up and we'd be in big trouble, I wouldnt want to be Paul Maurice - Karine Hains
aren't the Habs missing 2 top6 wingers in Tatar and Drouin?

Oh for sure, injuries aren't helping them and Scheifele decided to take himself out of the majority of this series.
That's their problem though. |

They are, but they aren't as important as 2 centres...centres are crucial players..
TBH though, I find it quite reassuring that this team can play like this without Tatar and Drouin. Clearly, Tatar isn't getting re-signed and Drouin is on his way out, might as well plan ahead eh? |

i get that tatar isn't scoring but he is more dangerous than either lektonen and evans were in that spot. tho, dd does seem to be using danault's line in a heavy shutdown role.
honestly don't think they lose anything defensively with tatar but its working, so why change it. |

stastny hasn't really been a center in awhile. occasionally but he plays mostly on the wing these days. PLD has been centering that line. |

Exactly, they are on defensive duty right now and when Tatar isn't scoring he doesn't give you much. Lehkonen is more intense and constant in his effort, on the fore check, on the back check, he fits well there. |

Decent team performance, Hellebuyck kept the Jets in this, Habs had somewhat an easy game til the last 10 minutes (at least from what I saw or was able to listen to on the radio when called to work).
Also, not sure how much longer the Habs can run on 4D, but at least having last change in MTL will be better.
Still up 2-0 int he opponents home rink, will take that every time.

Vegas has 26 shots to 15 and yet the Avs lead 2-1... i they go up 3-0, this will be a hill impossible to climb back |

Caufield should soon, I mean he got some very good looks tonight and 5 shots...Anderson has been less visible but I see him as a vocalno waiting to erupt |

Lets go Habs!!!! 2-0 in the series.
My moniker says it all but I’ve been a Habs fan since the days of Roy when I first got into hockey. I’m only 39.

Just saw this tweet: Mikko Rantanen's postseason point streak has reached 17 games.
I replied: If this were Jeopardy, the answer would be: Who's the opposite of Mitch Marner?
couldn't help it... Talk about a playoffs performer |

Those playoffs are weird, Karma seems to be on the Canadiens' side. Injuries, suspension... I'm starting to worry about what will happen to the Avs or Kinights stars if we made it to the 3rd round...
It's starting to remind me of '93, down in the first round with a big comeback, Turgeon injured and couldn't play the conference final...what's next? an illegal stick? |

Next game will be crucial for the Jets ... I expect they'll come out very hard at us. They know they can't fall behind again.
We'll need to weather the storm, get a goal and continue frustrating them with a stingy D effort. |
