Thanks to those who sent greetings or DMs.

A little nugget that I don't know if it has been mentioned or not is some names that have been dropped are Kirk Muller who has worked the PP on various teams and Brad Shaw of old CBJ has been mentioned by Dhaliwal as names Canucks may be talking to . It is not a forgone conclusion that the 2 NBs are coming back.

Nice info thx bro

I’m experiencing a rare moment of clarity lol

Being the good chance Clarke won’t fall to us I guess I’ll concede BPA F. Problem is that is a highly contentious challenge on here which order F’s rank. C prospects are the most obvious need unless a legit top 6 winger ceiling is available at 9oa. Is there a 2C?

Anyone care to project your list you like or will be there for us?

This years draft might have the most (frank)ed up first round ever. I bet a lot of rankings will be wrong and there will be many foam bricks thrown.

Lita looks like a hot mom now. Not bad for a 62 year old rocker.

A D top heavy draft but I’m not crazy that it’ll produce a #1. Could be that many top 4 is more realistic.

A top C isn’t there unless strange things happen. Unlikely at that.

Top 2C ceiling in mind are Beniers but he’s not exciting enough for me at the top of the draft. 2nd tier C’s in this draft like McT & Lucius & Sillinger are more likely to be solid picks where picked. Here is where I see us picking one. Sillinger least likely unless a trade down but nice stats. McT’s rise either impresses ppl or could be a steal if drops beyond us. Lucius to me is a real wild card.

So it’s Clarke if he falls to us followed by McT or Lucius for me. That said idk JB’s BPA so a winger could fall & make me look stupid if picked.

So since my draft track record sucking as it has ignore everything I say & tell me your story. 😂😂

I’ll say we get Chaz Lucius although McT be fine by me.

After the 1st round I see a few nice RHD I hope JB snags. Most are USHLers.

2nd round & on is where we need to find gems.

On another note Viktor Persson is joining the Blazers.

Close to home & see how he does with someone here in Kamloops updating his progress.

Should be a good opportunity for him to grow & see if a 7th round steal. Big RHD so here is to hoping 👍

There are a lot of defensemen throughout this draft, from a wide variety of leagues. If you only want to focus on the USHL, then I guess I can only say, that you got sucked in by Nucker about how that is the greatest league and the Americans are the best at developing

I’ve only just begun looking lol
Yes I do focus on the USHL as JB has gone there before & tends to pick Americans as the draft goes on. Seems Euros are later & not often picks from the CHL. Trend is pretty obvious in that regard.

USA is a force on developing players & imo worth mining.

I like Colton Dach in the second round (Kirby's younger brother) . He is a bit of a bull 6'3 can put up numbers . He plays hard in front of the net.

An acquaintance who follows prospects says to look for this guy in the second rd Aleksi Heimosalmi a RHD.

Getting weird? I’ve been on this site for 15 years, which is weird in and of itself, it’s always been weird and crazy. That may be part of the attraction

From the Athletic/Pronman mock draft I posted the top 15 of, they reached out to a number of scouts who said they'd be surprised if it went like that and no goalies were taken in the top 15.

I think a lot of teams are going to go for need at this point as the top guys aren't as locked in and projections are a mess.

Could very well be a guy or two falls to the Canucks again.
