I could see Stan moving back in the draft.
To Calgary:
Strome + #11 overall
To Chicago:
#12 overall (drafting Raty) - DarthKane
You missed your chance with Caufield so just go and kidnap Raty. |

D Sikura again in Vegas line up.
He is the ex Blackhawk factor NOT?
We have Hinostroza instead. Probably for next season if he is not taken by the Kraken.
The Kraken could choose Sikura instead and someone else (not Hinostroza) from us |

I'll take Hinostroza all day long over Sikura, the second coming of Stan Mikita to some.

Today's where does he get drafted after he was bumped out of top 40 considerations:
I have him lasting until late second round, after expectations he was a first day possibility in the Fall:
From my Lines.com profiles:
Martin Rysavy
(What is wrong with drafting a kid whose name has a "savy" in the middle?)
After being selected fairly early by Moose Jaw in the CHL import draft, the Covid-19 has changed his plan to join the Dub for some North American hockey orientation, and he hadn’t stood out so far with HC Prerov, the team that HC Vitkovice has loaned him to. His North American transfer was supposed to advance growth and level evaluations but that prospect vanished. So the evaluations are certainly skewed on the players thought of as one of the Czech-Slovak's top two prospects. Although his season was one that included much invisibility, he is a big powerful kid who plays off-handed right wing using his balance, hands, and size to handle opponents on the forecheck, and surprising mobility at his size, a nice first step and excellent stick handling and goal scoring and set-up ability. Uses his size strength and hands to muscle pucks behind the goal line to set up teammates going to the front. Has a very good release of his own and holds off his defenders with his backside while he releases heavy shots. Promoted to the Extraligue against older and more experienced men, he showed improved play and one heck of a one-timer. Displays excellent hand & eye co-ordination and projects as a big natural sniper with power wing potential. |

He sounds impressive. What are his negatives? Why hasn't he been able to stand out at HC Prerov? You would think he would with your description.

If Stan is looking to sign a veteran forward on a short-term deal Hinostroza makes sense. |

Agreed, but the Janmark type will flip better. |

Fair, assuming there’s a Janmark-type available that will sign with Chicago. |

It took time to acclimate to the old player's game, and early on after nit coming over, he simply didn't score, didn't play in. my opinion a full game, was on cruise control, picking spots to play, as opposed to the end of the year when he was again dialed in with commitment to detail both defensively and aggressively in the attack zone.
(A year ago, he was spent most of his year in the Under-20 league and the Under-17.
You do not see any big production in any of his stats, but the old adage of is their growth year to year level to level doesn't fit with many players now, especially guys like this. He has more lateral quickness than Tepły, less exposure than North Amercian debut would have allowed so he would be sorted properly for this years draft.
Teams knew about him, and I am sure saw the light switch not pushed to bright, so my point is he is one of the long term investments than MAY pay larger dividends if you feel his there or close now....
Maybe I am really far from the reality of this draft class, because I hear the whining of no hard core decided order (as a negative) the lack of games they played, etc....but I have watched lots ofd players I like, and see nothing wrong with more two rounds of youngsters that may surprise. |

I will say it again:
I don't think Hamilton is a #1 defenseman.
To be that, you have to have strong offense and excellent defensive recognition, and he just doesn't.
You might as well have a little guy. |

Hamilton is a quality d-man, but not the type of UFA the Hawks should target given then stage of development.
Teravainen ties the game at one before the Canes take a 2-1 lead.
I’m genuinely happy for TT, I’d like to see him win another Cup. |

he isn't a #1 on Carolina, either. Slavin is their #1. |

Next off-season is the time to make a bigger splash. I just hope it isn't Jones.
I am okay with another growth year and a chance at Wright. |

McTavish, Lysell or even Johnson(if he falls) would be solid picks for the Hawks. They have shown they will go off the board a tad for someone they like. |
