Yes a step in the right direction by the NHL...but...but...but...but...we have a young 25 year old kid who is injured because of a clear intent to injure....Scheifele got off easy....the predatory hit warranted a very severe suspension that continued on to next season...Scheifele just may have killed Evans career with his stupid pre meditated decision.

It was an awful hit but i’ll admit I’m pleasantly surprised with 4 games considering the DoPS track record. 4 games, win the series and move on. Scheifele will now forever be booed by 21 000 people every time he touches the puck when he plays in Montréal, welcome to the Chara treatment.

I don't care who you hope for or how you feel about suspension. Just stop thinking about who the teams and players were, take your heart out of this. Forget about Tom Wilson and John Taveras. This was an ugly hit and it was an illegal play; there had to be a suspension. If you look at what's fair one might ask how long will the victim, Evans be out compared to Scheifele (the agressor).

Nope, Chara is the only one who has it every time he touches the puck since the 2011 incident. We made an exception when he played his 1500th game and gave him an ovation because you got to respect that but we went right back to booing lol
