Nope, Chara is the only one who has it every time he touches the puck since the 2011 incident. We made an exception when he played his 1500th game and gave him an ovation because you got to respect that but we went right back to booing lol

Contrary to popular believe I am not "mentally challenged" nor am I an "internet tough guy" but yeah you got me that I am a little po'd that the NHL choose now to finally grow a pair in regards to player suspension.

So what made you come to your conclusions about me:
- the fact i said he would be suspended
- my opinion that I thought 4 games was a bit much in relation to recent DOPS decisions
- my opinion that the suspension of a repeat offender was a little light
- my opinion that Corey Perry has always played on the edge without much retribution
- or was it that I no longer believe in a fat guy in a red suit with flying reindeer, or a magical rabbit that delivers chocolate, or was it that I have never believed in a diety

hhhhmmm let me guess which pushed you over the edge.

ps: I'm done say what you want. Hopefully the rest of the games are entertaining and the winner is decided on the ice without any more unfortunate incidents.

Although I am not surprised he got suspended I am surprised that it was 4 games. It is also very unfortunate for the Jets that the NHL and the DOPS decided to make Scheifele the scape goat for a number of their past poor decisions.

Like only suspending Ryan Reaves 2 games for his impression of Derek Chauvin, or not even bothering to fine Corey Perry for kneeing John Tavaras in the back of the head, Oh I forgot that was accidental, my a$$. Corey Perry knows what he is doing every second he is on the ice and if you don't believe that you likely still believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny or that some guy in leather sandals walked on water.

As a leaf fan I appreciate this take on Perry, the poster boy for "accidentally on purpose". Pretty sure it was an accident, but there is always going to be some doubt with that guy and it didn't seem like JT was exactly convinced either. Everyone in the league knows it which is why he had to fight Foligno.

Leafs have a few big guys too if it’s really on purpose they would have been all over Perry every time. I think you are being delusional here

Watched every game of that series and whether Perry (who is a rat 100%) did it on purpose only he knows for sure.

But what I saw literally every game was Weber, Charot, Edmundson, Petry - every time they hit a Leafs player they basically hit face or head with no call. The cross checking was insane. Great if it were the 90’s which I personally don’t mind but in today’s game the Habs should’ve been short handed 10x a period. I honestly started thinking that Weber and Charot and Edmundson don’t know how not to punch in head when they hit. It was terrible. Not to mention Charot targeting the knee of Tavares was brutal. That’s at least a 2 gamer itself.
Leafs got away with stuff absolutely, as most teams do in the playoffs, but it was hooks or trips - not punches to the head, high hits, knees, and Pronger like cross checks.
