Yeah, it's not perfect. But players need REAL consequences and something to make them check themselves before stupid poop happens over and over.

There would be a deterrent if there was a fixed minimum of games you’d get if you caused a head injury to a player. If you broke a rule and someone was concussed as a result you should know that you’ll have to serve a minimum of games and at it could be more if there are aggravating factors.

The eye for an eye approach doesnt make sense because every human being reacts differently to injuries and you can’t base the punishment on the level of injury sustained.
