I know Im one of them. Barely watched games this year. Maybe a couple minutes of a game then i'd turn it off.

If or when our good players are traded, some interesting players will be returned. The team will be extremely young, but I would think entertaining. If they perform like they did in the last 6 weeks, I'll be here for it.

Me too. There's a pretty good chance in my mind that the Sabres come away with 2 top-10 picks depending on what happens.

The Sabres also have 10 picks this year. With all the uncertainty, there could be some very good sleepers in the mid rounds.

Two 2nd round picks and two 3rds. They might land some terrific players there

After giving it some thought I think Adam’s should be calling all the other teams in the top 10 and see how much they would be willing to give up to move to 1st.

One team in particular I think makes a lot of sense is the kings. LA is loaded at center and still have kopitar for the next 3 years which is why I never saw them as a fit for eichel but what they do have is a massive hole at LD something that may or may not be there at 8.

Also with dahlin as your 1 LD I don’t believe Power is a tier above the rest enough to fill the one position that the sabres actually have locked up and I don’t believe Adam’s has the balls to go against the consensus.

Furthermore I don’t believe their is that much of a difference between the players in the top 8-10 and I don’t think any of them should be playing in the NHL to start next year unless they blow the doors off of training camp.

Everything I’ve read and seen on power has led me to believe he’s a Noah hanifin 2.0, not a bad player but not the superstar you’re hoping for at one.

If I’m looking at D Hughes I think has a higher ceiling and being a full year younger has more room for growth. I’m also super high on Clarke and I could be willing to take the chance on him over power as well

If I’m looking at forward beniers is a great two way C may pan out as a low end #1 or a decent #2, guenther’s 12 goals and 24 points in 12 games makes me wonder if he could have taken 1st overall if a full season was played out, eklund could have been in last years draft had he been born a month earlier and he put up better numbers than both Raymond and holtz in the SHL this year.

I need to do more digging on the 2nd and 3rd rounds, but if Cossa is there at 33, you take him. It's a position of need and good value for that pick. Best of both worlds
