I'm so excited for another 3 years of awful Buffalo hockey.

If Buffalo is bad again next year I think you will have a lot of point of no return fans.
And if they are bad again the year after its going to be a ghost town in there and there is no recovering from that.

I could see there being doom and gloom if Ralph was still the coach. For me, that was the low point of the last 40 years. We played roughly .500 hockey down the stretch without our best player or NHL goaltending. We're about to add a ton of talent in the draft and through trades. Hell, addition by subtraction by seeing Risto leave. The mistake will be trying to rush it.

We beat good teams down the stretch. If you go from the worst stretch of hockey to .500 in the course of a few weeks you've actually done something. Hockey went from being unwatchable to actually being exciting. The bigger point is that there is a lot of hope based on what happened over the last few weeks.

Nope, most prospects don't live up to they hype.

Reinhart according to many has not live up to his draft position.

Same with Eichel.

Dahlin is being traded for peants by a lot of Sabres social media.

Tell me again how fans are supposed to get excited about another 3+ years of top 5 draft picks when three guys above were supposed to be franchise altering.
