Since Beane drafts players for the bills. She had nothing to do.
Beane and I made eye contact at the blue jays game last night. I nodded and lipped thank you. Is that weird ? - Sabretooth9

He’d be a reach at 1, imo. I’ve stayed true to I don’t want him OVER power, Eklund, Beniers, Clarke, Hughes. I’d take all of those guys over him. Doesn’t mean I don’t think he’s top ten, but we reached for a winger last year, let’s not double down on the strategy. I’ll be happily wrong if Quinn is a superstar. - SDSabre
Why is Guenther a reach at no. 1?
I feel like he's criminally underrated.
He produced at a point per game pace during his D-1 season and this year he doubled it although in a small number of games. |

I didn’t think of that lol. But I gave him a head nod. So I think he got it. A bunch of the bills front office was there too. So neat to see |

Complete turn around
They were bad in beginning
And power is pretty smooth
Like to see a little more toughness - Anderdog
Toughness and Grit are the intangibles that won in the playoffs, Sabres should be scouting for those as the Leafs/Oilers/NJ/NYR all have young high end talent yet get bullied whenever it’s time to get serious.
Do not build a regular season roster |

“ If traded, Julio Jones wants to go to a contender, as most big-name players want, but one other thing I've heard intrigues: A big-armed QB that can deliver the deep ball. Jones wants to outrun DBs and get underneath the ball.”

Hes not a reach at all though he won ROTY and was 2nd in CHL ROTY to wright who is going to be first overall next year
And had a Insane season this year in PPG only behind Bedard .
If the season played out he have over 100 points
his 2nd year year |

Guenther was ranked #2 on Bob McKenzie’s mid season rankings so he was highly regarded but may slip due to a meh U18’s.
If he slips out of the top 5 though he’s a steal.

I have no data or backing for this, just a feel. The Oil Kings were absolutely stacked this year, so that’s something (him obviously being a big part of it). I just like the guys I listed better, thus, to me, he’d be a reach. |

Greg Carvel won't be coaching the Sabres, per Hamilton. Contract extension at UMass.
(not that we expected him to) |

I like the wingers over power and berniers. Not by much and not that my opinion maters. But...*shrugs*..whatever |

I would not be surprised one bit if Eklund and Guenther turn out to be high end wingers while Beniers ends up as a 2C/3C and Power a second pairing d-man.

That's my thoughts on what limited info I've gathered. Eklund, for me, has everything the Sabres could use. |

Eklund>Guenther>Quinn - SDSabre
In a counter argument, not saying this is a good idea or valid reasoning, I could see the Sabres not taking either Eklund/Guenther because of having Quinn and Peterka in the pipeline with Mitts and Cozens having wing versatility.
