Logan Thompson, their AHL goalie.
I find it funny that they extended Lehner less than a year ago and they may already be sick of his poop. - kingcong39
Yikes. Wonder if they just take a bath on any return, just to get rid of him. |

one thing I never understood after watching the game this morning
when a drafted player, like petersen refuses to sign with the team that drafted them, why is there no compensation?
Petersen, after completing his college year, should have to either sit out a year, or at the very least the sabres should receive that pick in a future draft after the player signs elsewhere
so in petersens case, he signs with the kings in 2017, so we should get a compensatory draft pick at the end of the 5th round in 2018 as that was the round he was picked.
For Vesey, picked in the 3rd round, we would have received a compensatory draft at the end of the 3rd rd in the 2017 draft

Robin Lehner G
Ques Sun - Undisclosed
6/4/21 Lehner is dealing with an undisclosed issue, and it remains to be seen if he will dress for Game 4 of the West Division finals versus the Avalanche.

Undisclosed means he pissed the team off with his post game antics after game 1. |

I like the idea, but for Vesey the pick should've gone to Nashville because they drafted him, right? |

no, we gave a 3rd for his rights
whoever has the rights of the player should get the pick |

Yeah, it is Bullpoop especially after paying a pick to hire Bylsma, after Pitt already fired him. NHL has so many things backwards |

Idk how much impact a World Championships has on a players stock but the bread eater has been absolutely money for Canada.
Buried in Calgary’s depth chart but has the good subjective stats.

That's the Sabres problem, not Nashville's.
I wouldn't do that. The pick should go to the team that drafted the player.
If another team is dumb enough like the Sabres to trade for the player's rights, the team who drafted the player benefits doubly. |

Better yet, if a team trades away said player, neither of the teams should get any compensation.
The trader already received compensation, via the deal, and the tradee took their shot. They lose. |

Lots of people (fans) hyping the Grönbeard.
Others (because he's coaching in Europe):
"gReAt, AnOthEr sOCeR cOaCh".
I hate people. |

Well someone forgot to tell Darryl Sutter.
Also would have been smarter to sign him long term instead of the bridge they gave him.

Far from shocking that Sutter wouldn't play a guy that isn't big or a long time veteran with what he believes as a coaching dinosaur.
Calgary seems similar to Buffalo in terms of there being a disconnect between the GM, the coach, and fans in terms of the direction of the team. |
