What people rarely mention is the idea is Jack is a franchise player with many years left in the league. If this surgery doesn't work as intended, or cripples/lessens his abilities, that becomes a heavily depreciated asset who could either lead Buffalo for many years or return a huge amount of talent in return. Jack wants the best for himself now and in the future, which is completely understandable, but the team needs to look out for themselves too. It's a very unfortunate situation, but it's also understandable from both sides.

A little confused or miss heard it, did Dreger say there has been open communication the last few days between Adams and Eichel and things seemed to have calmed down a bit.

I still think Columbus needs to add. Jones has been declining for a couple years. And a UFA next year.

I think the deal above is fine, but I would need Columbus to add Foudy.
