Was anyone happy with Ullmark, Hutton, Johansson going into a season where you knew you'd need all 3? - Lunaion
Happy with Ullmark, not with Hutton and thought we were getting a different goalie in the offseason to back up Ullmark. But a player wouldn't waive his NTC and kinda screwed up the whole trade. Mojo was actually pretty competent when he actually went to a team that played hockey in front of him, really didn't get much help here. |

He’s back with the team at the hotel yet everyone wants to cry for him. The guy is fine. He’s a hockey player for fvck sakes.

brah you need to stop. You're in the wrong ballpark with your take.
Also with a name as dirtydan, should anyone be surprised you find a dirty plan clean |

Byfield should be in the ahl next year - gerbe75pts
That could be a possibility as well
No need to “rush” guys up here when we are gonna stink anyways
Let them develop |

Depends how we use him
But around 40pts would be a guess
That’s significantly less than what we typically get from Eichel- and even with Eichel, we were still a bad team- really bad - jdfitz77
Again, not sure what Jack has to do with whether the team without him from last year would improve, but agree on the assessment with Byfield. If he got the call up and they didn't leave him down to tank, I think he could have impact. |

Ullmark has never been able to stay healthy enough to “carry the load”
And even 15games of Hutton is too much
Should’ve been easy for all to see that imo - jdfitz77
Well I guess they were expecting him to turn that corner. And when the a deal fell through in the offseason they were stuck with Hutton. |

Bc even in years previous, we were still bad even with a healthy Eichel
A healthy Eichel wouldn’t make let year’s team “good”
And neither will a rookie Byfield
Also, we’re just going around in circles here making no progress
Agree to disagree |

I’m on board with the Power train.
Get your center in an Eichel trade. |

I'll fess on that. Hutton had said he couldn't track pucks as well due to his eyesight. I thought the lasek surgery would've helped. It most certainly (frank)ing didn't.
Our arena sucks ass for goalies. Lighting sucks, dark background and seats. |

They were working on a deal with Arizona, but a certain D man wouldn't waive his NTC and it nixed a trade that would have included a goalie. Chad D even talked about it. |

We had a defenseman with an NTC ?
Or one of theirs?
Too bad we didn’t figure out a way to make it work regardless
But oh well.... here we are.... again |

It doesn't really matter
Point is that the goaltending has been mediocre for a while now
And until we fix that, we don’t have a chance to be a good team |

He’s intriguing. But I’m just not sure. Should have been Gronbeard over Ralph.
Now, I’m not so sure you can take that swing. |

Rather just keep Granato if they are thinking about Gronberg |

Well Mitts might not have been here anymore. Johnson's name was thrown out there, and we wouldn't have had Hall. And a pick was going there way. |

Well i would’ve liked to see what that looked like since last season was such a mess
But here we are....
on the edge of another rebuild
Hopefully these trades go well for us & we don’t screw this rebuild up |
