Well if it's before the draft and you know what pieces you got, will make the selection and possibilities at the draft a little different.

All this love for beniers! I look at it this way, taking Power at one solidifies our d core for years. Should be no question this is who they take. The issue with all this is the eichel, Reinhart turmoil. I’d personally trade Reinhart to Vancouver and keep Eichel. Reinhart clearly wants to go home. Trade him now when his value is at its highest. Then you go Cozens at 2C Mittlestadt 3C. Good young middle. Fill in wingers with FA and trade of Risto for top 4-6 forward. Only way I’d move Eichel is if Byfield is the starting piece BUT STILL need more. Eichel is proven while Byfield isn’t. Valardi would also have to be in the deal. Trading for an elite franchise center is going to cost. I’d personally stay away fro the Rangers unless they include BOTH Lafrienere AND Kakko. Same as above though minus we’ve seen a small sample size and they aren’t team altering yet. It’s a tough road for Adams to trek right now but as long as the Pegulas stay out of the decisions on roster I think Adams is smart to right the ship.
