I'm in the minority on this but my position on the expansion would be to do nothing and let them choose between Asplund, Bjork and Girgensons

The oilers believe it or not we’re getting some development during krueger’s time there then they F’d it all up by bringing in Eakins, they did it again when Todd Nelson was interim and actually getting done development out of yakupov then they won mcdavid, brought in mclellan and while horrible management played a part the rest is history.

The point I’m getting at is while I know people have argued here wether they should keep granato I think you should be interested in giving him another year because what he did in his short time is something no other sabres coach has been able to accomplish in the past decade. You look at what DJ smith has done in Ottawa and you know what the sabres are in for the next couple of years (especially if eichel and Reinhardt are moved) I think it’s the chance you take. Worst case scenario granato is can’t replicate his success it’s not like the sabres can go any lower than the rock bottom they’re at now.

I need to do more digging on the 2nd and 3rd rounds, but if Cossa is there at 33, you take him. It's a position of need and good value for that pick. Best of both worlds

I’mma pass, I think it’s an overpay (yes I’m bias and Mangiapane is super underrated) but more importantly I think Calgary should be looking to rebuild than picking up a player to compete for a wild card spot for the duration of his contract.

We’re being told a rebuild won’t be happening but mortgaging the future when this team could potentially be really bad in a few years isn’t something I’m keen on.
