Love Pageau. Have been a huge fan since his junior days. Last night I was all in on the Islanders and Pageau did not disappoint. Thrilled to hear Islander fans singing Pageau, Pageau, Pageau. Even Mrs. Spatso, who has no interest in hockey, said that she thought it was pretty good.
I don't regret the Sens trading Pageau, they got a good return for him and it was time for them to turn the page in their rebuild phase. But, when I think about who the Sens should add this off season, I am hoping for a Pageau like player. A guy who is a top defensive forward, can win face-offs and goes head to head against a Bergeron or Krejci and gives up nothing easy to them.
Maybe we already have that in Pinto. |
