Vegas exploited a bunch of stupid GMs. Won't happen again. Seattle finishes dead last next year. By a wide margin. Nothing wrong with gifting them the 3rd spot to begin a very long painful road to respectability.

Too toxic to move forward with 2 guys that are just biding their time til free agency and another who just said (as a captain of a team) “I have to put me first” during locker clean out day.

Reinhart can completely care less about playing in and for Buffalo and is most likely just waiting to get out west...per sources.

Eichel will be a huge talent in this league for years to follow. But having the likes of Kane mentoring him while watching O’Reilly and Bogo leave to cup winning teams while being on a perennial bottom dweller has obviously worn on him.

It’s a shame it hasn’t worked out but they are really no longer the “core” of that team. They are 3 talented hockey players that are checked out of playing for that club. Building around them would be the definition of insanity.

Cozens is the near future captain regardless of what Buffalo can get for those 3.

Trade that first for a goalie that can stop a puck.
