Good for you guys. It’s good to see a team that deserves the first overall pick actually get it.

I don’t mind seeing Seattle win either and I’m happy my team didn’t slip at all. So much better then last year’s debacle.

Of course they did, team needed it the most I would think.

Never take a D man #1 overall. The payoff for development is YEARS. Sabre fans should be upset it isn't the 2022 draft where WRIGHT , the next McDavid , can come in and make an immediate impact.
I feel for Buffalo folks, this is the weakest draft in over 20 years and no player is NHL Ready , Buffalo already have a slew of young D men, with no leadership to teach them how to play properly, and certainly none whom don't have the losing attitude as if it is second hat.

If they can reach their potential, a blueline of Dahlin and Power playing almost 30 minutes a game reminds me of the Pronger/Niedermayer combo.

Probably 1-2 games it wasn't that bad. But if it was vs an American team in the Conference final Bettman would make sure it was 7 games.

I think most GM’s in the league, if given the option to build a brand new team or have the 1st overall pick to add to a generationally broken team on one or all levels since inception... I’d choose the fresh start and congratulate Kevin Adams while he tries to figure out what’s gone wrong since the fog game.

Scheifele's hit was bad, but don't forget Sergachev's vicious attack on Frank Vatrano. If the NHL still allows Sergachev to play then Scheifele should be safe too.
