Zero bearing on FA's, you are kidding right? If a FA signs with a team they want to know they have the loyalty of team, typically this is their last contract, typically they have a family. Culture is not winning or losing it is how you approach winning and losing, it is your commitment to your values and how you respond when shxt goes bad. Yes losing effects culture. It was easier to have better culture last season when they were winning. The real culture will show up this coming season, one good season and then a bad one, how will the franchise respond, character and culture will be very important. Talented individual players and all of them are just not tradable, NONSENSE. The young core has value, if you don't think teams are asking for Sanheim or TK or Farabee or Myers or Provy or JAKE or JVR, the last 2 with retained salary then you must also think everyone but the Flyers win the cup this year.


The truth is there will be 30 teams (Leafs, Pens, Caps, Blues, Dallas, San Jose, Panthers, Oilers, LA, I'll stop there) looking for answers, I am sure some of their fans are saying what you are saying (we suck, we got nothing, the sky is falling). The truth or my truth is that the Flyers have talent and prospects, they are missing the right mix. This is the year they need to address it all to get it right, the rebuild needs to be over.

Embiid will be back for game six "if needed", but I believe it'll be over tonight. The series against Atlanta comes down to Embiid's tolerance for pain. After that, either the Nets or Bucks would present a big challenge with a totally healthy Embiid....hate to say it but It'd take a miracle to beat either now.
