Was already penciling Power or Beniers into our lineup... - Popsghostly
I was happy when a team behind us didn't jump to one or two.
I guess it was nice the way it worked out because the Devils already got two #1s in Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier.
It puts Owen power on the Sabres, but you have to wonder if they were thinking about retooling the offensive , and now here they are.
Seattle will have a big decision of big defenseman prospect in what might look like a reach (but not really) and then Bob Murray who might have had a perfect marriage of Owen Power and Drysdale as a pairing also has to think hard if they want to pass on defenseman.
Columbus probably doesn't care because unless Matty Beniers is still there, they have a chance for a good wing and and maybe the top four defenseman won't be gone by slot five and the get a young kid to try and fit in Seth Jones' shadow.
Think about that:
There could be four defenseman in the top four picks and four forwards go to Columbus, Detroit, San Jose and Los Angeles respectively...unless one or two take goalies...or they decide Corson Ceulemans (6' 1" 188) or Carson Lambos (6'1 197) are the answer and forwards keep a dropping.... you just cannot predict who is left at slot #11... |

Gustafson on the power play for Montreal… coughs up the puck at the blue line… leads directly to a short-handed goal by Winnipeg.
Keep on keepin’ on Eric.
Ahh… you guys beat me to it. |

Man, I'm getting tired of hearing all of these Canadian sportscasters rave about Philip Denault. That had to be the worst trade for the Blackhawk organization in the last 15 years, maybe more. |

Could Hawks trade back a few spots in the draft? Maybe pick up a 1st round pick in the late teens or 20’s and another 2nd or 3rd round pick. |

Crazy patience from Suzuki on that goal. This is easily the most PO hockey I've watched in a year where the Hawks aren't playing. |

For Fleischmann and Weise… and then not play them.
The Stan v Q (aka Spy v Spy) head games… priceless. |

That was always the last stop on the way home. I went to the one in Countryside and bumped into a classmate from high school who couldn't talk he was laughing so hard. I go in to take a leak and the SOB had pissed all over the ceiling in front of the urinals.
He had talent. |

Of all the drafts were statistically that might work, this might be the draft, but NO.
You want to pick as high as you can...most options and actually a better chance of success. |

Do the Hawks grab Wallstedt if he's available? |

Good to see the Blackhawks aren't the only team to give up a breakaway while on the PK. Unbelievable |

Yes or a center. Imo wallstedt lambos lucies and Mctavish will be there at 11 so pick one out those 4. Things can change of course i could see Detroit taking a one of the goalies. |

Yep, just a total garbage move. No need to make that hit after an EN goal. |

I just dunno, I think that was a huge neck or spinal injury.
I hope it isn't that serious, but once the puck went in, I not even sure how Mark Scheifele can slow enough and avoid that was the intent, and the jets were in full thrust.
He has got to get suspended.
No pun intended. |

So, Lehner isn't even dressed for this one, and Sikura is making his Playoff debut. This should at least be interesting to watch. |

After his frustrating walk out because he wasn't healed enough during the season, it looks like leaner is gaining friends or influence.
