Absolutely no doubt!

It is well known!

For Scottie....there's one more reason for Jones to not wait until next year. He can sign an 8-year deal with the team he is traded to, but can only sign for seven years as a UFA (barring an uncommon sign-and-trade just before the end of next year).

Please, no facts! I wanna believe what I wanna believe and I don’t need no stinking facts getting in the way.

i was reading somewhere today about Dach possibly being part of a trade for Jones. If Stan did this i think he would have to be shown to the door. Jones is a very nice player but not what the Hawks need right now at this stage.

Sometimes narratives die hard. For 30 years, I swore I'd never drink brown liquor again after a harsh run-in with some cheap whiskey. Then I tried some, and now I'm pissed I held onto that narrative so long. It is good to be free.

Yeah, that would be no bueno.

How about as part of a package for Marner or Matthews? Or Cale Makar?

Makes sense i just think when Columbus trades jones whether its at the draft off-season or at the tdl the team trading for jones would most likely be assured he will sign with said team. Should be interesting where and when jones gets traded.

From the limited viewing in the playoffs thus far and what I recall from our 2 games against the Leafs- Matthews Hell yes. Marner no.

Limited playoffs this and last year- Makar yes.

Matthews and Makar are game changers (Leafs needed a sub-par goalie and more than just 2 lines (even less w/o Tavares and Foligno)

Dach could be a future Thorton or he could be a Gratton with less sandpaper.

That's fantastic Paul!

It means you will have money left over to buy not only a heart for Tin Man Nick, but also a brain for Scarecrow Nick and courage for Cowardly Nick.

I'm so glad the Loaves lost.
And still laughing about it.
They might get a crown for all-time chokers. Or at least a participation medal.
Maybe they can hand the medals out same time the Preds hang their 2021 playoff banner?

Hawks will inquire what it would take to get jones but after that hawks need to stay the course keep developing young players and big picture view. Its going tempting at times to chance a big trade or big named free agent but need to understand this development and rebuild is for sustainable success for years to come. Would i like jones on our team yes but now is not the time.

Yep.
That's why Barry Trotz only gave him 28+ TOI in the OT win over the Bruins and most TOI at 5x5. Of course Barry knows nothing, unlike some . . .

Hawks will end up with the 3rd pick tonight!!!
Bob said Bettman told him so....

- BGKarras

I think they can only move to #2 or #1. The draft is only two spots this year

The Blackhawks' rights to Roope Laavainen (2017 4th round) and Cole Moberg (2019 7th round) just expired.

Moberg played this season on an AHL contract, so he might stick around nonetheless.

Their rights to Josh Ess (2017 7th round) expire Aug. 15.

Also, the IceHogs have resigned Dylan McLaughlin.

Maybe the Hawks will sign Filip Lindberg, a goalie drafted by Minnesota that is not gonna sign and become a free agent in August. Good college numbers

didnt know where the A.B. thing was coming from, now i know...from the desk of Joe Biden:

"A summer of freedom, a summer of joy, a summer of get-togethers and celebrations. An all-American summer that this country deserves after a long, long dark winter that we've all endured," Biden said.

The month of action includes a partnership with Anheuser-Busch that could mean free alcohol for every American 21 years of age and older. Anheuser-Busch, the national brewer that produces Budweiser, announced Wednesday it will give away free alcohol if the nation reaches Biden's goal to have 70% of US adults receive at least one dose of the vaccine by July 4.

I love how all the free crap being given away to entice people to get stuck are things (beer, doughnuts) that everyone knows are complete poop for your health and ultimately lead to co-morbidities with the illness... morons.
