maybe on a different team. but for what the Habs are trying to do and trying to be in the playoffs? disagree. we'll see how they fare against the Jets behemoths up front but guys like Chiarot, Weber, Edmundson were a big reason why Toronto wasn't able to generate any offence in the paint. they kept the crease relatively clear of Leaf forwards. that's not so much Romanov's game.
not saying i don't want him in but i think Chiarot is a much more valuable presence right now. - DoubleDown
Eh, fair enough I guess. There are times though when they're getting hemmed into their zone where I think Romanov's mobility could be helpful in clearing the puck.

May 27th right when Ducharme decided to put Gustafsson and Merrill in the line-up lol
Wont publish it now but some parts are still valid and will be used in the very distant future when the off season starts Optobus all the way! |

Romanov is mobile and hits, i’m convinced he would bd useful in this series but on a bottom pairing that would get a regular shift.
I’d lut him in tonight when the Habs will be knackered and the Jets fresh, give an idea of what he can do in the playoffs |

I think I just had the greatest come back ever.
But Koivu coming back after beating cancer is a close 2nd. That was special. |

I’ve taken a new simple approach with regard to this latest loss.
This affects everyone involved in hockey.
This loss has established a stable hierarchy with which the outcome all future Leaf playoff series can be ranked/predicted.
Regardless of talent, regular season standings, domination of certain teams in reg season, personal awards, stats etc etc, the Toronto Maple Leafs should always, ALWAYS be considered as the underdog, from this time forth.
I suggest this to relieve some of the unfair pressure and expectations placed upon the heads of the Toronto Royal Daltons Boys.
Thank you |

Well I didn't predict a Toronto win in the first round. So I was already on board.

I’ll try my best, but I know, a win in the first game of the season vs the Habs next year, will undo all of my hard work. |

Frank those guys. I predicted Leafs in 5, and was only one Galchenyuk away from success. I have learned my lesson...again. |
