You’re arguing that Scheifele didn’t mean to wreck Evans. Stupid as that is, fine. But he meant to make contact with a vulnerable player on a charge.

What's your explanation for hitting him with no let up what's so ever after the goal was scored?

i wouldn't call the hit late. never really got a good camera shot to see if scheifele ever broke stride and everything was made worse because evans was in no position to protect himself because he was trying to score. the puck going in and the hit at pretty much the same time. As far as both players being committed to their actions.

yes both injuries could have been on flukes. But again, the suggestion that perry ( a historically dirty player) may have done something on purpose right after it happened was called trolling
