apparently it would be considered as the biggest fail in leafs history... it might sound evil but I can't say I'm not enjoying it a bit more because of this

it is pretty bad. not many teams complete the 3-1 comeback and losing 2 of them on home ice hurts. though, the lack of fans in the building mitigates the home ice advantage somewhat.

yeah, well if anything I guess it played in the habs' advantage for game 6, those 2,500 fans were very present, although some would say it's pretty quiet in TOR even with full capacity lol

mtl could use the pumped in noise they use in a normal season as opposed to this season

In a normal season with a full crowd they still pumped in extra noise. With no fans the league put a cap on the dB. With people there they could use the normal amount

oh, I don't care so much about the decibels and fake noise, just seeing thousands of fans cheering creates the atmosphere

From what I've gathered, fire the GM, the coach, and trade Marner because he's a soft female dog not worth poop in the playoffs seems to be the consensus. It's amazing how different the narrative would have been if they'd won that game 6 OT. "Leafs have character and made a good surging comeback led by their great depth in game 6 to close the door and put playoff ghosts to rest".

for sure. performance is based on results, and god knows leafs fans (not peanut, lol) have been waiting for quite some time now. in a more "regular" context yesterday's loss would've been perceived as a downer but also as part of the learning curve

meh, everyone deals with it differently, some are way too negative or serious about it, but being disappointed and whining is kinda part of the true fan experience... gotta be there for the poopty times to really enjoy the good ones
