Impressive how TB is shutting down Canes and winning with D. 4 goals scored on 45 shots. 2 goals given up on 62 shots against

But Avs are even more impressive, frankly. They are taking possession/team D teams like Blues/Vegas and destroying them

I think I am gonna put some more money on Avs.

Avs are far and away favorites for the cup in my mind. Tampa is the only team I see that might give them a fit.

Do we think we have enough pieces we are willing to part with to have Blue Jackets trade Jones ahead of the season?

Every lottery sim I do puts the Flyers at 14. 13 When you take out the Yotes.

What is the skinny on Mason McTavish? He seems to be a guy we could target at the pick.

Supposed to be a shoot first forward whose stock has been steadily rising. He also plays with an edge which makes him, on paper at least, perfect for the Flyers if he is there for them; though most say he will not be. Should the Flyers be aggressive and trade up for him? Not sure.

William Eklund also looks like a possibility. Perfect last name for us.

Flyers are soft, they don't want players who play with an edge.

I don't bet, but I do love how Colorado completely dominated Vegas in game one.

Also, huge respect for him for overcoming his personal situations, but Lehner isn't good.

Hopefully that will change in the off season. I noted Anson Carter on NHL tonight last night, while talking about a Cart Hart bounce back season, mentioned he expected a major overhaul for the Flyers in front of Hart. Since he was sitting next to Keith Jones when he said it and Jones didn't offer a different opinion, I think this is more evidence that Fletcher plans on big changes this off season.

We shall see. I guess a lot depends on who goes in the expansion draft. And then more depends on who is willing to deal.

We have to find takers for our flotsam.

Not for nothing, but I doubt Jones has any idea what Fletcher is planning, and I'm certain Carter doesn't. Jones not offering a differing opinion implies he agrees with Carter's opinion. This isn't evidence of anything.

Per Pierre Lebrun. Since the start of the Cap era, Price is the 1st NHL player with a 10 mill+ contract to win a playoff round.

That sure says a LOT about having a top heavy lineup cap wise.
