Christ, was that the Head of Arena Maintenance stretchering him? Looked more like a wheelbarrow ride.

Lol.
I shouldn’t laugh, but the wheelbarrow ride got me.

The thing going for the Leafs if they decide to deal him: front loaded so a lot of actual money has been paid; his NTC doesn’t kick in for a few more years.

I hearya but the cap hit for him is the real problem. Wingers shouldn’t get paid like he does. To get that much they have to be very very special & he is not.

Dubas was a fool.

Yeah but he helped Tavares achieve a career high in points! He scored 88 with Marner on his wing, 2 more than he scored with Megna and Chaput on long Island.

Marner for Seth Jones? Straight up?

Or how about Marner for Markstrom and Tanev.

- 1970vintage

I think the Marner for Jones framework is good, maybe Toronto adds a D prospect or pick.

JUSTIN ABDELKADER As a potential $975 1 year 4th liner next season?

Had a decent run for team USA and Swiss league. Looking to get back into the NHL next season.

Jay Beagle 2.0 (without the price tag obviously)

I'd rather they go younger/faster. Makes me nervous when Detroit (being as bad as they have been) decide to walk away from a player.

Declining speed, injuries, and not very physical anymore. He's a perfect fit.

I'm sure Benning can offer more than league minimum.

Though his Cap hit is a bit high, I would take Marner on the team any day if we could make Cap work. Great in reg season to get us to Playoffs, and he is not a terrible producer in the playoffs.

Do you mean by not terrible, invisible? He and Matthews are perennial playoff choke artists.

Toronto adds big. Eating 10.9m says so.

Marner has gone 18 playoff games without a goal.

5 goals in 32 games. Pretty pathetic for the price.

No way would I trade assets from Vancouver for Marner.

He’s a good regular season player and I’m sure could help a team in the situation.
But not here.

Hard pass.

RIP Pavel D.

At least most Nuck fans don't have the Doors "This is the End" on repeat.

Though did you love the smell of napalm this morning coming from the Apocalypse of Leafland

His first 2-3 seasons in PO's not bad but the big 0-FER last two years. Pass.

Why not?

He puts up big points in the regular season for 10.9m.

Paid squat in the playoffs & delivers squat.

Funny thing was in 2017 the Oil were one win away from the conference finals looking to beat Anaheim before Gary's boys took over. Trade didn't look so bad then and Hall was Golfing while the Oil were still playing. Two blown offsides and two blown goalie interference calls cost the Oil the series. Kesler on one of them but then again Hall won the MVP the next year lol

The exact opposite kind of player the Canucks need. Wouldn't mind kicking tires on Domi, though.

There is no way you can justify that trade bud.
Keep trying if you want tho.

Edmonton should trade for Seth jones while they still got McD.
Because we all know it ain’t lasting forever.
