Sounds crazy to me as that team 8s fun to watch and pretty damn close IMO.

I think they can fit everyone needed under the cap, as far as I know, at least. Their biggest worry is losing someone useful in exp draft because they have to protect some dead weight with a NMC.

Last year they were gonna cut/slash payroll by 10 million...at least that’s how Canadian media spun it when they got wind that they were gonna let Hoffman and Dadonov walk. IdkY, but they always try to run with crap like this that’s always financially related. (Toronto media seems to ramp it up when FL is a challenge to the Leafs.) I haven’t heard any of those rumors, personally. I have seen Larry Brooks saying Q will leave this Panthers team in FLorida to go coach an as of yet unknown roster in Seattle. yeah right. I know they would love to “shave a bunch of spending” by getting rid of Yandle and probably Stralman, too. And, Of course they’d love to get rid of Bob’s contract.
