No one's hating on anybody just that he didn't show up that's the truth.

Sometimes yes, these weren't. One was a blocked shot that fell into Draisaitl's lap for a pretty easy goal, and another was Yamamoto making a play at the net and Draisaitl banging home the rebound; I was surprised McDavid even got an assist on that one.

Brayden Point definitely belongs in the conversation of Top 5 Centres though. His full 200 foot play might be the best at the position.

The teams don't change all of a sudden, some players find another gear, some disappear. McDavid is somewhere in the middle, though there is a poopload of perimeter play. Another thing he'd get roasted for here.

I wonder how many points Eichel would have of Granato employed a system similar to Q's with Huberdeau "cheating" by leaving the D zone as soon as it looks like his team will gain possession and head north looking for the stretch pass.
