Your Hall point is conjecture
He was simply stuck in a HORRIBLE offensive system under Kruger
Even Eichel struggled to score
And u didn’t explain how (basically) the WHOLE TEAM looked so much better after the coaching change
And if u think Hutton is STILL a “great backup” then you’re blind & crazy
Good for him that he put up better stats on a good defensive team FOUR YEARS AGO
He’s been extremely inconsistent in his time here,
which culminated this season with stats of:
3.47gaa
and
.886 save%
There’s just no way around the fact that he sucked overall for us this year
Now, those weren’t the ONLY problems we had....
but Coaching AND Goaltending were huge & obvious problems this season
Are u really trying to say coaching was good?
Are really trying to say goaltending was?
Come on man, let’s be real here - jdfitz77
Ok wienerhead. Coaching and goalies are all they need. Nice talking to you with all your knowledge of the sport. I’ll step back and wait for all your great analysis and ideas.

I guess u missed when i wrote this:

Reed moor
And your typical insulting reply just goes to show that- in fact- you do NOT “know hockey”
I’ll leave to to sling more insults though,
since u obviously don’t have an intelligent point to make
Have a great day

Yeah and I was right about Leon being Malkin 2.0.
Kind of sad how the Pegulas could have let me and Gerbe run our last 8 drafts and we would have been in a better spot than the smucks they paid millions of dollars too.
I would have done it for free too. - Pegullaville
If you could kiss Leon Draisatl on the mouth, would you do it? |

I was being serious. It's long past time to put a select group of knowledgeable fans in charge of the team. - RichardRoma

I'm not going to be one to hate on the Sam pick. He's turned out to be a pretty good, first line player in his own right. Leon was better. Is what it is. Sam is a top 5 forward from his draft class, happens, move on. My point was the crowd chanting no more d has been saying that for years, but our d still blow |

Is there any player, or any combination of picks, that they could trade for Cole Caufield? |

Not that you are wrong, just funny to me that everyone said the exact same thing, and I mean exact same thing in the 2014 draft before we knew we were drafting at 2. Most had decided on Sam or Leon at 1 and letting Ekblad go because we were good on D. Well, 7 years later and our defense still sucks. - SDSabre
But you are much, much deeper there than say c (if jack and Sam are gone) and RW.
Don’t forget TMGM drunken sailor approach to trading.

That's why I said you weren't wrong. Counter point is back then they had Risto, Zadorov, McCabb, Pysyk, Myers/Bogo.
These are all young versions of themselves, full of promise.
Full disclosure, I would also go forward. But I'm not nearly as solidified that the D is good to go. |

We will likely have 4 first picks and 3 possible in the top ten
They should come out of this draft the winners if they dont close it down
