Vicious hit by Schieffle (who had no chance to stop the shot) on Evans, who was trying to stuff in an empty net goal to end the game. That doctor for Montreal looks like he needs a doctor. Schieffle should get a game or two for that.

To correct my original post, the high camera shot from behind the goal shows that when Evans had already rounded the net, Scheifele had the distance to reach out and try to play the puck. Instead, he pulled back his stick-hand -- likely because he knew he was beaten to the post, and chose to lead with his other shoulder to line up the hit.
