you gotta put some of the blame on tippet as well. putting mcdavid out right after the 4-3 goal was just plain dumb.

you don't put in an offensive guy who gets nervous with the puck in his own end when the other team has all the momentum.

mcdavid is clearly not a guy you (universal you) would trust when the game is on the line. he's young and clearly can't handle the pressure of the playoffs.
