Hoping that by drafting Luke that when either jack or quin Hughes become a UFA that they would join the team that drafts Luke

Thought you were referencing people talking about how they think drafting one brother will help secure getting another one because they would want to play on the same team. Either way, I don't think teams would take him if they didn't think he was good on his own merit. And it seems that the rankings for this draft are just all over the place so I wouldn't be surprised if the order players are picked in is just wild.

No, i dont think theres any shot Hughes goes in the top 3. Power and Beniers are 100% guaranteed to go for sure, then next off the board will likely be either Edvinsson or Clarke. If its neither of those two D go at #3 then it'll be a forward, either Eklund or Guenther. Imo, we're the only team picking in the top 5 who would pick Hughes.
