I think Zegras is better which makes him more exciting to me.

I don't think it's even close..

To each there own though

- DirtyDan

I believe they will be in the same tear zegras playmaker like Getzlaf and Byfield will be a Scorer/ playmaker like a Malkin

Can see it being a combination of both.
- Powerslave

That's it, to me I just don't want only prospects.

I think it's more a case of ROR made the fans hate him due to poor choice of his words

That’s kind of what happens when you sign the richest contract in team history, and don’t produce nearly what you’re capable of

But that's all they are is prospects, and no a young established player doesn't mean a lower ceiling, just means there in the NHL already. You more than likely not getting what Eichel brings, your hoping the sum of the pieces make you a better overall team.
- Buff36

Typically it will be for players with lower ceilings.

I read offers with Chytil, Buchnevich, Kempe, and so on, all those players have lower ceilings than a Byfield.

Right now looking at the teams that would make sense for Eichel, he should only be going to LA or Ana, preferably LA, and Byfield (or Zergas) needs to be coming back in the package.

Minnesota and Vegas make sense too

Peyton Krebs is an excellent prospect.

So is Marco Rossi

Both of the above I take in a heartbeat over Turcotte or Chytil

I thought it was entirely due to crashing into a Tim Hortons and having a baby out of wedlock...?

Are you saying he produced to expectations here?

I don’t want to rehash the ROR debate but he has almost doubled his EV production in St. Louis since he left

I'm in the minority, but I would take a trade centered around the duo of PLD and Andrew Copp from Winnipeg as well.

sure he could have been better here, but his play did not warrant being the fall guy by any means

No the “change of core” trade should’ve been Risto, but it will never change the fact that it was obvious from the middle of that season that ROR wanted out pretty much
