Risto is a -163.

The 2nd Sabres d-man on the ice for most goals against was on the ice for 100 goals less

Trading for those guys does nothing for me. I need higher ceiling players and prospects. Chychrun is good. The rest is meh

I think you may be underselling Keller a wee bit, and I think he and Cozens would be a lot of fun together.

However I do agree for the most part

Chychrun is going to be a norris finalist really soon

Keller
Schmaltz
Dvorak
Garland
Kuemper
Soderstrom

I would almost take any 3 from that list for Jack

make them throw in Hayton as well

fleece them

- homiedclown

3 plus Chychrun

Or maybe, just maybe, the Sabres are a terrible team because a terrible player like Risto plays 25 minutes a night ?

What was Jakub Varna’s excuse when he went to Detroit ? Detroit stinks yet Vrana goes and scores 8 even strength goals in 11 games. Why ? Because he is a good hockey player.

Great players have great seasons on crappy teams, Risto has been a liability outside of the PP for 8 seasons.

Not Risto’s fault we couldn’t build a better team and have been (basically) forced to play him too much
Besides Dahlin, we really don’t have “top pair” quality defensemen

If you’re playing Risto LESS.... ok
But who are u playing more???

Also....
where did i say that Risto was a “great” player?

Agreed.

They need a potentially higher impact forward coming back, and I don't think Arizona offers that.

Of anything that I’ve said here, Risto sucking is way more of a fact than an opinion.

Saying he doesn’t suck at this point is like the earth is flat

Soderstrom is projected to be a top pair Dman, DK would be perfect until UPL is ready, Chychrun is very good, Garland is solid. Everyone on that list is a solid or will be solid hockey players. And there all young enough to be here 5 to 10yrs.

for

Chychrun, Garland, Kuemper, Hayton, 1st

Pass. They don't have a 1st and Hayton looks like a nothing burger

Kuemper doesn't fit the timeline anymore. Might as well go Adin Hill.

That could be true this year or next, but then you add Bernier Peterka Quinn plus what ever else is added if Rhino and when Risto is traded.

That team is screwed basically had no draft last year and no first this year and 2 high 2nd round picks

They draft Miller who will now never play in the nhl for the rest of his life

That franchise is a mess

Literally anyone.

Play Borgen 25 minutes a night for all I care. If he stinks up the joint as much as Risto does, you have an extra $4M in cap space to spend on players that actually have a positive impact on the team

That's a lot for them to give up off their current roster.

Their starting goalie, for one.

Chychrun really came into his own this year. He's a budding number #1 Dman.

Garland is a legit top 2 RW.

We need to build the right way cant be rusing things the next 2 drafts and Prospect wise we get for Jack could make us a cup Contender in the next 5 years

If we're just looking for guys That you can just plug into the top 6 we will be that Roy and vanek core team

It's a lot of volume, but a lot of mid-ceiling volume

Jack Eichel needs to return a top 2021 pick because the 2022 pick will probably be in the 25-32 range after he wins the friggin cup, conn smythe and somehow the Vezina

Matty beniers is my favorite player in the top 5 but wouldn't be mad if we took guenther or eklund

But my hope is to have an extra first in the top ten after the jack trade

- gerbe75pts

My hope is to keep Eichel, but Im a simple man.

Chychrun is a legit top pair D man.

Eichel is not winning anything in Arizona.

Doesn't matter, really. They don't seem like a good fit for what the Sabres supposedly want in return. I was just throwing a trade out there.
