Oh ya. Watching the game now, such a difference a good coach/system makes. Actually exciting and quality hockey to watch.

It's insane. That boston/caps game yesterday really does show just how far behind the canucks are. This pens team is pretty slow, I think the isles will take this series. No malkin also hurts.

Are we living in the past still? Minnesota is a much better team today than last year, and we are clearly much worse.

And karill.

We should do the same this off season.

Minny has had a good defence for years. Adding a PPG forward helps a lot. Rossi, Boldy next season also.

Getting Scott Bradley as GM, out of Bruins organization would be sweet.

As much as we all hate the bruins, nobody can say they haven't done a great job over the last 10 years. I dont know much about Bradley, but I'd be 100% down from taking a page out of the bruins management book

Yes Minny improved a bunch but still need the playoff results.

A horrible start & covid was the demise of this season. Many warts to work on. As Carol stated & I wanted as well was the season to be used to develop the kids. That happened to an extent. Not going to read much into this season other than the front office & coaching is the main focus.

Too bad there wasn't a playoff wildcard spot, we could challenge for the cup.

I'd sign him based solely on his nhl trades and free agent signings resume

Because they faced a Canucks team last year without out all of this seasons hurdles the Canucks endured.

On another note I expect big changes.

Other teams faced the same hurdles, unless you're talking about the stupidity of our GM. Plus, last year over 1/5 of the Blues team had Covid right before the playoffs started. Maybe that impacted the series too eh?

You will probably think I'm just being a whiner, but a healthy petey, and a team that doesn't get a single bout of covid, and this team still doesn't make it. They just aren't good enough from top to bottom.

Several years ago, Neely was talking very highly about him. He said he was involved in all aspects of the Bruins organization.
Courtnall and Neely are good friends still, maybe Geoff could convince Cam to let the Canucks talk with him.😁

I start higher up with the stupidity of FA.
I thought the Habs were the team that hurt us most. If we went with the kids then no Holtby & let Demko carry the ball with a cheap vet backup. The cap would’ve been there for TT.

No not a whiner. The warts showed up. It was a goofy season to use as a building block instead of the route FA/JB took.

This team could badly use at least 1 top pairing guy.

$8m+ per for Hamilton or a cheaper Savard probably more realistic.

Realistically Savard is a 2nd pairing Dman now. Only way Canucks are going to get one these days is to draft and develop one that has the attributes to grow into a top pairing guy.

I would be fine getting Adam Larson, Jake, McCabe or Ryan Murray. 3 guys that at least know where the defensive zone is.

Not in a position to trade assets for D.
Larsson probably pricier UFA than Savard.

I’d resign Hamonic cheap again.

VGK a big heavy & fast group.
JV made sense at the time til he proved to lack the drive & determination to be a pro.
